This Cancellation Policy explains how to cancel a permits.llc subscription and what happens when you do.
1. Subscriptions
Subscription plans (Pro and Exclusive) bill monthly and renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep access and alerts through the period you have already paid for.
2. Territory lock
Exclusive plans include a non-compete territory lock — one business per niche per county. The lock is held only while your subscription is active. When you cancel, the lock is released at the end of the billing period and the territory becomes available to other businesses. We cannot guarantee a territory will still be open if you later resubscribe.
3. Refunds
Subscription payments already made are generally non-refundable, but we will review good-faith requests for billing errors or service issues. Pay-per-record exports are final once the CSV is delivered, because the data cannot be returned.
4. Free dataset
The free 2025 dataset has no subscription and nothing to cancel.
5. How to cancel
Email hello@permits.llc or use the account dashboard. We confirm every cancellation in writing.
